DNS Setup for Lemon Squeezy Domain

Current Issue​

You're trying to connect www.photoflowseo.com to Lemon Squeezy but DNS verification is failing.

Error: "We could not verify your domain's DNS settings"

Solution: Create A Record​

Step 1: Add A Record to Your DNS Provider​

You need to create an A record pointing to Lemon Squeezy's IP address:

Type: A
Name: www.photoflowseo.com
Value: 3.33.255.208
TTL: 300 (or default)

Step 2: Where to Add This​

If using Cloudflare:

  1. Go to Cloudflare Dashboard
  2. Select photoflowseo.com domain
  3. Go to DNS → Records
  4. Click Add record
  5. Fill in:
    • Type: A
    • Name: www
    • IPv4 address: 3.33.255.208
    • Proxy status: DNS only (gray cloud)
  6. Click Save

If using other DNS providers (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.):

  1. Log into your DNS provider
  2. Find DNS management for photoflowseo.com
  3. Add A record:
    • Host: www
    • Points to: 3.33.255.208
    • TTL: 300

Step 3: Wait for DNS Propagation​

DNS changes can take:

  • Cloudflare: 1-5 minutes
  • Other providers: 15 minutes to 24 hours

Check if DNS is working:​

# Check if A record is set
dig www.photoflowseo.com

# Should return: 3.33.255.208

Step 4: Verify in Lemon Squeezy​

  1. Wait 5-10 minutes after adding A record
  2. Go back to Lemon Squeezy → Settings → Domains
  3. Click "Verify Domain" button
  4. Should show green checkmarks:
    • ✅ DNS settings verified
    • ✅ Creating SSL certificate

Alternative: Use Subdomain Instead​

If www.photoflowseo.com is causing issues, you can use a subdomain:

Option 1: shop.photoflowseo.com​

Type: A
Name: shop
Value: 3.33.255.208

Option 2: store.photoflowseo.com​

Type: A
Name: store
Value: 3.33.255.208

Then update Lemon Squeezy to use the subdomain instead.

Quick Test​

Once DNS is set up correctly, you can test:

  1. Visit: https://www.photoflowseo.com (or your subdomain)
  2. Should see: Lemon Squeezy store page
  3. If it works: DNS is correct!

Troubleshooting​

Still getting DNS error?​

Check:

  1. Is there an existing A record conflicting?
  2. Did you wait long enough for propagation?
  3. Is the record exactly: www A 3.33.255.208?

Common issues:

  • Multiple A records: Remove old ones, keep only the Lemon Squeezy one
  • CNAME conflicts: Remove any CNAME records for www
  • Proxy enabled: Disable Cloudflare proxy (gray cloud icon)

Check who manages your DNS:

# Find nameservers
dig NS photoflowseo.com

# Common providers:
# cloudflare.com = Cloudflare
# godaddy.com = GoDaddy  
# namecheap.com = Namecheap
# route53.amazonaws.com = AWS Route 53

After DNS Works​

Once DNS verification succeeds in Lemon Squeezy:

  1. ✅ SSL certificate will be created automatically
  2. ✅ Your store will be live at www.photoflowseo.com
  3. ✅ You can proceed with product setup and API configuration
